Regrettably, the MOC meet will be postponed again until next summer (2022). It just isn’t feasible to bring in so many athletes and teams from multiple counties across the region to one pool deck. We’re eager to bring back an exciting and memorable MOC meet next year!
We know how important it is for swimmers to qualify for MOCs every summer. The qualifying times are a great goal to set and it’s always a major accomplishment when a time standard is achieved. Although there won’t be an MOC meet this summer, we’ve gone ahead and updated our MOC qualifying times for the 2021 swim season, and made some new changes. In honor of the Olympics, we’ve updated our MOC qualifying times to include a Bronze, Silver, and Gold time standard for each event. Bronze time standards are essentially the 2021 MOC qualifying times, silver times are equivalent to a top 10 finish, and gold times are equivalent to a top four finish. A 2021 Meet of Champions Certificate for each time standard will be available to download from our website for free (coming soon). At the end of the season, we'd like to publish on our website all the names of the athletes who reach a time standard this summer. Good luck with your summer season and we’ll see you again in 2022 for the 20th Meet of Champions! Thank you, Tyson Frenn Meet Director Meet of Champions
